The Finance Team provides general accounting services, and each accountant is assigned between 2 and 5 divisions depending on size and workload of the division. The scope of our services include processing and managing all procurement, travel, recruitment reimbursements, all non-grant payroll and incentives, education and fellowship purchases, and all internal awards.
Grant and Contract Management
The Grants and Contract Management Team is here to provide services to assist faculty with grant submissions and grant management. This team manages grants pre and post award.
The Human Resources Team is here to provide services to assist employees and hiring managers on matters related to recruitment, faculty contracts, faculty and staff leave, SuccessFactors and other issues concerning employment. Employee relations issues are managed by the Director of Resources and Grant Management.
The resource/facilities coordinators manage all facilities related issues for Pediatrics, along with other major functions such as asset management, space management, surplus property, movement of personnel and property within the department, storage of property and records, and other miscellaneous tasks. Facilities management includes custodial services, building repairs, painting, HVAC, door signs, telephone services, copier services, and key issue and or replacement.

As coordinators for the residency programs within the Department of Pediatrics our primary responsibility is to assist our Program Directors to oversee and manage all residency programs. Our daily activities include: recruitment of new interns, ensuring our residency programs are working within both the GME and ACGME program requirements, tracking resident schedules, reporting to local, state and national bodies, event planning, curriculum planning and management, and more.
