BMTRY 777 Cancer Health Equity Research

Description

In this 14-week, 15-credit hour course comprising six modules, students will receive didactic instruction, one hour per day, from national leaders in cancer research who collectively will present state-of-the-art cancer information across multiple perspectives - basic sciences, clinical sciences, and population sciences with an emphasis on disparate outcomes in breast, prostate, head/neck, and cervical cancer. Students will also spend 30 hours per week working in the research laboratories/offices of their mentors.

Prerequisites

At least two years of college coursework.
