Cannabidiol (CBD) for Youth Alcohol Use Research Study

Treatment Research Study for Individuals Aged 16 to 22

The purpose of this research study is to test cannabidiol (CBD) as a possible medication to treat alcohol use. Individuals between the ages of 16 to 22 will receive one dose of CBD (600mg) or placebo (i.e., sugar water) before two different MRI sessions (separated by approximately two weeks) to see how CBD affects the brain. The full study will last approximately six weeks. Compensation up to $385 is available.
