Resident Scholarly Activity

Research is an important part of our educational mission in radiology and is an integral component of our curriculum. We have a strong research infrastructure, which supports active resident participation. All residents undertake at least one mentored research project during the course of their residency. Residents are encouraged to submit manuscripts and exhibits to national meetings. If accepted, travel to present at the meeting will be funded by the department. Residents with a strong interest in research may also apply for a Distinction in Research to be awarded at residency graduation.
