Pharmacy Residency

An integral part of the Medical University of South Carolina enterprise, the MUSC Health Pharmacy Residency Program is devoted to training the next generation of young pharmacists, delivering academically and medically equipped leaders to the field of pharmacy. MUSC Health pharmacy residents develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become not only excellent clinicians today, but versatile pharmacists of tomorrow.

MUSC Health offers both Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residencies and PGY2 residencies in a variety of clinical specialties with approximately 30 to 35 residents completing these programs annually. The College of Pharmacy supports residency training with 2 certificate programs for residents: The Academician Preparation Program (APP), which is a teaching certificate and the Research Certificate.
