The Commitment to Excellence in Interprofessional Education & Collaborative Practice Award is awarded to a faculty member who promotes the values of interprofessional education and collaborative practice. These faculty members have a history of ongoing educational leadership, significant involvement in enhancing interprofessional educational programs at the Medical University of South Carolina, and demonstrate considerable collaboration with others to improve interprofessional education.

Each year, the Office of Interprofessional Initiatives reviews the contributions made by faculty to interprofessional education efforts and selects a standout faculty member.
