Drug Discovery Building

Business and education leaders in South Carolina point to biomedical research as a potential economic powerhouse for the state. The Drug Discovery Building, part of the James E. Clyburn Research Center, provides research space to meet this need.

The building is situated on the MUSC campus, but the scientists within it represent direct collaboration among MUSC, Clemson University and the University of South Carolina, as well as existing and new partnerships with the private sector. In addition to its research facilities, the DDB houses a 300 seat multimedia auditorium used for both classroom instruction and as a conference venue.
