Biography

Ariana Cipoletta, AuD, CCC-A is a clinical instructor of audiology within the Medical University of South Carolina’s (MUSC) department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adult hearing loss and is a part of MUSC’s cochlear implant team.

 Dr. Cipoletta received a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida taking additional coursework in Deaf Studies while there. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Audiology from Gallaudet University where she studied American Sign Language (ASL) and had specialized experience working with d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients.

 Dr. Cipoletta completed her clinical externship at Weill Cornell Medicine where she gained extensive experience in diagnostics and treatment across the lifespan working with diverse patient populations throughout New York City. Her clinical interests include adult hearing diagnostics and hearing aids, cochlear implantation, and clinical research. She is committed to providing patient centered care for individuals with hearing loss and working with them to find a treatment plan that improves their quality of life.

 Dr. Cipoletta holds a South Carolina state Audiology license and the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
