Biography

Dr. Erin Ferguson is a licensed clinical psychologist with specializations in clinical health psychology and addiction. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology and master's degree in public health from the University of Florida. She completed her clinical psychology internship training at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a NIAAA-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies at Brown University. Currently, Dr. Ferguson provides clinical services, including pre-surgical evaluations and outpatient therapy, to patients who are experiencing a variety of medical conditions and co-occurring mental health concerns at MUSC. Current clinical/research interests include chronic pain, substance use disorders, HIV, and general health behavior change.
