Biography
Dr. Maurer received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in health psychology from the University of Florida. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center and her postdoctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is currently an Instructor in the Division of Bio-Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Maurer supervises interns and fellows with interest in Behavioral Medicine, and is the primary supervisor for the Hollings Cancer Center rotation in the Charleston Consortium Psychology Internship Program.
