Biography

Dr. Casie Morgan is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing compassionate, developmentally informed care to children and adolescents. She has expertise in trauma, behavioral health, and pediatric medical concerns, and offers evidence-based care to support young people and their families in navigating emotional, behavioral, and health-related challenges.

Dr. Morgan earned her PhD in Medical/Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completed her clinical internship at MUSC in the Child Track, and secured an NIMH-funded postdoctoral fellowship at MUSC focused on traumatic stress. She joined the MUSC faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor in July 2026. Dr. Morgan's clinical work focuses on treating children and adolescents with a range of concerns, including ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety/depression, autism, posttraumatic stress disorder, insomnia, and medical complexity (e.g., chronic illness, injury).

Additionally, Dr. Morgan is an active researcher studying how family dynamics, behavior, and environmental factors influence child and adolescent health. Her research focuses on trauma, injury prevention, media influences, and health-risk behaviors to improve outcomes for youth and their caregivers.
