Biography
Dr. Nietert is a Professor of Biostatistics and is the director of the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design Program within the South Carolina Clinical and Translational Research Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is an applied biostatistician with over 20 years of collaborative experience. Much of his work is in collaboration with rheumatologists, predominantly within systemic sclerosis and systemic lupus erythematosus. His research interests include analyses of correlated data and dissemination of novel biostatistical methods.
