Biography
Dr. Erin Seery is a board-certified psychiatrist with interests in trauma, psychosis, personality disorders and treatment resistance. She is a graduate of University of Maryland Medical School and completed her psychiatric residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Seery has additional specialization in the practice of psychotherapy and completed a four year intensive psychoanalytic training program at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, MA. Dr. Seery is an Associate Program Director of the General Psychiatry Residency Program. She currently works in the emergency department at MUSC providing acute psychiatric services and is the Medical Director of the Outpatient General Residents Clinic.
