Biography
Dr. Erin Seery is a board-certified psychiatrist with interests in trauma, psychosis, personality disorders and treatment resistance. She is a graduate of University of Maryland Medical School and completed her psychiatric residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Seery has additional specialization in the practice of psychotherapy and completed a four year intensive psychoanalytic training program at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, MA. Dr. Seery currently works in the emergency department at MUSC providing acute psychiatric services to both adults and children and acts as a supervising physician in the general adult psychiatry clinic. She is an active participant in MUSC psychiatry residency education
