Biography
Dr. Rachel Siciliano is a Research Assistant Professor in the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center Division, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Siciliano received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University, completed her clinical internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and completed her B.A. in Neuroscience from Colgate University. Her work is centered on examining physiological patterns of threat reactivity and emotion regulation, as well as familial and contextual factors that contribute to resilience and risk in trauma-exposed youth, with particular attention to neurobiological mechanisms of psychopathology development and evidence-based treatments. She is passionate about trauma-informed assessment and intervention, translational science, measurement-based care and dissemination evidence-based treatments.
