Biography
Christina F. Tolbert, M.D., is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences in the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She received her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) and completed her internship, residency, and child and adolescent fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Tolbert has a wide range of interests including youth and perinatal psychiatry and has spent some time as an attending psychiatrist working as a collaborative care consultant and a consult-liaison psychiatrist for the MUSC Health Center for Telehealth. Within child and adolescent psychiatry, she currently provides medication management in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders through the MUSC School-Based Telehealth Clinic and the MUSC Health Children's Day Treatment – Star Program in North Charleston, SC.
