Biography
Dr. Francy Vivas is a board certified Internal Medicine Physician with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and shared decision-making. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, where she received the Paul J. Furlong, MD Award also known as physician of physicians award for outstanding clinical performance, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Vivas earned her medical degree from Universidad Centroccidental "Lisandro Alvarado" in Venezuela, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She began her career as a rural physician, delivering comprehensive care to underserved communities, and later completed a residency in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). These experiences helped shape her holistic, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach to medicine. Her clinical interests include the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and thyroid disorders, with a strong emphasis on lifestyle medicine and preventive care. Dr. Vivas integrates evidence-based medicine with practical health education to empower patients to meet their health goals. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Vivas is deeply committed to improving access to care for the Hispanic community. She strives to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where language and cultural differences are never a barrier to care. Dr. Vivas is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and delivering compassionate, personalized care that meets the needs of each individual.
