Biography
Tina Woods, D.M.D., is the Division Chief of Diagnostic Science & Services in the department of Biomedical & Community Health Sciences at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She also serves as a forensic odontology consultant for the Division of Medical & Forensic Autopsy in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine in MUSC's College of Medicine.
Dr. Woods previously held faculty roles at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and has extensive experience in oral and maxillofacial pathology. She completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial pathology at the University of Florida and a forensic dentistry fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Her work bridges clinical education, pathology, oral cancer awareness, research and forensic sciences.
