Clint C. Blankenship, Pharm.D., PA-C, RPh, DFAAPA, is an associate professor with tenure and program director in the Division of Physician Assistant Studies in the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). His distinctive educational background combines a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, providing a unique foundation for his academic career.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Blankenship demonstrates exceptional teaching expertise across multiple organ systems, serving as course director for numerous courses including cardiovascular, pulmonary, hematologic, and neurologic systems. His leadership extends to chairing several committees, including the Didactic Curriculum Committee (2014-2025) and multiple faculty search committees.
Dr. Blankenship has received prestigious recognition for his teaching excellence, including the 2016 MUSC Teaching Excellence Award and being named 2014 Educator of the Year for the MUSC College of Health Professions. He is also a faculty inductee of the Pi Alpha MUSC Chapter.
