Biography

Dr. Cuizon is a clinical instructor and member of the Academic Support Team for the accelerated undergraduate nursing program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stevenson University in Owings, Mills MD, her Masters of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis of family practice from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Cuizon’s nursing career began in 2016 specializing in medical-surgical nursing, trauma acute-care and step down. She is an AANP certified family nurse practitioner. Her clinical interest is access to care to underserved populations. In 2022, Dr. Cuizon began her academic career with a focus on clinical instruction for courses including Health Assessment, Foundations & Gerontologic Nursing, and Medical-Surgical Nursing.
