Biography
Dr. Flume is the Powers-Huggins Endowed Chair for Cystic Fibrosis Professor. Flume’s work is focused on patients with cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) lung infections. These patients have multiple challenges including management of their chronic infection and consequences of the treatment. We have multi-disciplinary teams engaged in the care of these patients and so our investigations also include quality improvement, mental health, toxicities of medications, best practices for treatment of infections and exacerbations.
