Biography
Mark A. Miller, D.M.D., M.D., serves as program director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program and as associate dean for Hospital Affairs for the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he also serves as associate professor in the Department of Advance Specialty Services. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Kentucky and later his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Florida, completing advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery.
Board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a subspecialty in pediatric craniofacial surgery, Dr. Miller previously served as vice chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. His clinical and research interests include cleft and craniofacial surgery, trauma, and complex reconstruction.
