Biography

I am Professor of Biostatistics and Graduate Training Director for Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health Sciences. I also hold joint appointments at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and in the Biostatistics Shared Resource at Hollings Cancer Center. My current research focuses on Bayesian hierarchical models for longitudinal and spatial data, with applications to infectious and chronic disease epidemiology, maternal and child health, environmental health, and health services research.
