Biography

Tamara Nelson (she/her) joined MUSC Libraries in April 2024 as the Director of Library User Experience and Engagement. Tamara is passionate about increasing engagement and fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive library experience for all users. After over a decade of working in health sciences as a liaison librarian, she is excited to pivot into this new role where she can impact users on another level.
