Biography

Dr. Lisa Saladin is the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at the Medical University of South Carolina(MUSC). In this capacity, she serves as the chief academic officer of the university with administrative oversight and leadership over all six colleges (Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Professions, and Graduate Studies), the Hollings Cancer Center, the Offices of Research, Education Innovation and Student Life, Educational Planning and Effectiveness, Global Health, Innovation, Humanities, Gender Equity, and the MUSC Library. Prior to serving in this role, Dr. Saladin was dean of the College of Health Professions at MUSC where she has been a faculty member in the physical therapy program for the last 34 years.

 

 Dr. Saladin is an early personal adopter of Artificial Intelligence and has been the education champion for the MUSC AI Strategic Plan.
