Biography
Dr. Scheurer's clinical research interests are focused on longitudinal observational and prospective studies in children undergoing surgical repair of complex congenital heart defects. Principally he has focused on variables during critical events and interventions in children and adults with single ventricle physiology that are associated with morbidity and long-term survival. In addition, Dr. Scheurer's current investigations include the coupling of clinical data collected through prospective trials and registries with economic data typically collected in administrative datasets.
