Dr. Cecilia Taylor is an anesthesiologist and critical care physician. She provides anesthesia care for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures at MUSC.
In addition to her work in the operating room, Dr. Taylor also cares for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. There, she specializes in the management of patients recovering from major heart and lung surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and advanced life support therapies.
Dr. Taylor earned her medical degree from MUSC, where she also completed residency training, and pursued fellowship training in critical care medicine at Mass General Brigham.
Her clinical interests include anesthesia for high-risk patients, recovery after cardiothoracic surgery, and supporting families as they navigate the challenges of surgery and critical illness.
