Biography
Jonathan C. Edwards, M.D., MBA, serves as professor and chair of the Department of Neurology in the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He is also the chief of the MUSC Health Neuroscience Integrated Center of Clinical Excellence (ICCE) and serves as president of MUSC Physicians. He has been at MUSC since 2007 and specializes in epilepsy and seizures. He is a member of the South Carolina Neurological Association, the American Epilepsy Society (AES), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS).
Dr. Edwards has served on the scientific committee of several organizations, including the ACNS, and has been a board member and examiner for the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN) and the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). He recently served as president of ACNS. Dr. Edwards has won numerous awards for teaching, research, and patient advocacy.
