Biography

Lisa Kerr, PhD has been a faculty member of the Center for Academic Excellence/Writing Center since Fall 2006. She also directs the Office of Humanities, leading efforts to integrate the health humanities into student education in our six colleges. In 2023, she became a certified Applied Compassion Educator through Stanford's Center for Compassion and Altruism in Research and Education (CCARE) and developed a program in applied compassion and health for students at MUSC.
