Biography

Dr. McHugh is the Medical Director of Outpatient Services of Pediatric Cardiology and the Director of the Cardiac Transitions clinic at MUSC. Her research specializes in assessing and improving longitudinal outcomes in congenital heart disease, resource utilization in health care, and care of single ventricle heart disease from infancy to adulthood. She is an investigator for the Pediatric Heart Network and enrolls and follows patients in clinical trials in pediatric cardiology.
