Biography
Nicole Miranda, MD, is an inpatient psychiatry attending at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health). In this role, she provides psychiatric care to adults hospitalized with acute mental health conditions, with a focus on comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and recovery-oriented care. She completed her psychiatry residency and forensic psychiatry fellowship at MUSC and previously served as Chief Resident. Her clinical and academic interests include forensic psychiatry, psychiatric education, and the intersection of mental health and the legal system.
