Biography

Dr. Myers received her Ph.D. from the UC San Diego/San Diego State University Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, her clinical psychology internship at the Charleston Consortium through the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and a research postdoctoral fellow at the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC. Dr. Myers joined MUSC in 2018 as an assistant professor in the Military Sciences Division of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, in addition to her role as a psychologist and supervisor on the PTSD clinical team at the VAMC. Her research interests utilizing mixed methods to examine the dissemination and implementation of evidence based psychotherapy, particularly through the use of clinical video telehealth. Dr. Myers is the recipient of a VISN 7 Research Development Award examining the utilization, cost utility, and satisfaction of homebased telemental health for veterans with PTSD.
