Biography
Dr.
Palmer (she/her) is a Research Instructor in the Department of Public Health
Sciences and a Research Member of the Hollings Cancer Control Program. She is also a licensed clinical psychologist with the MUSC Health Tobacco Treatment Program and supervises pre-doctoral clinical psychology interns in the Charleston Consortium. Dr. Palmer's research interests include health psychology and behavioral medicine, with an emphasis on tobacco use and cessation. Her most recent research projects focus on the use of e-cigarettes, harm reduction, and vaping cessation. Dr. Palmer received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Florida, and she completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at MUSC.
