Biography
Taufiek Konrad Rajab was educated at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. He completed residencies in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (Harvard Medical School), a research fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and a clinical fellowship in congenital cardiac surgery at Children’s Hospital Colorado (University of Colorado). Dr. Rajab 's teaching was recognized by an award from students at Harvard Medical School. His research was recognized by the Brigham and Women's Hospital John Mannick Research Award, the Brigham Research Institute Research Excellence Award, and a Mass General Brigham Innovation Award. Dr. Rajab also obtained research funding from the American Association of Thoracic Surgery, the South Carolina Clinical and Translational Research Institute, and the Brigham Research Institute. Dr. Rajab's clinical interests encompass the full spectrum of congenital cardiac surgery.
