College of Health Professions

Compassion Through Research & Innovation

How can we advance health care? At the Medical University of South Carolina’s largest and most diverse college, we routinely examine our role and purpose within the world. We find our answer at the source—research. Ideas from our distinguished team impact the therapies patients receive and form the foundation of our academic programs. We train our students not just to do and deliver but to lead through compassionate, responsive care that ultimately uplifts their communities.

We also acknowledge that collaboration fosters more dynamic solutions. In turn, we cultivate partnerships across MUSC’s colleges and with MUSC Health to push the boundaries of what’s possible and transform population health in the process.

The PT faculty are incredible. They made the transition from student to clinician feel natural. They challenge my ability to clinically reason when seeing patients in the CARES clinic so that I’ll be confident treating my own patients one day.
