Student Demographics

The College of Health Professions is comprised of over 790 students. Approximately 69 percent of students are women, and nearly 12 percent of students are first in their family to complete college. We attract both traditional, residential students as well as working professionals who earn their advanced degree in a distance based or online format. The average age of our distance-based student is 35 years old, compared to an average age of 24 years old for residential students. Underrepresented minority students comprise 17.7 percent of our student body, and 44.1 percent of students are from out-of-state. View a further breakdown of our student demographics.
