Locations & Directions

The Addiction Sciences Division (ASD) has space in three locations; the Institute of Psychiatry, the Roper Medical Office Building, and the Charleston Center. All buildings are located on the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC)’s campus in downtown Charleston within a 5 minute of walk of each other. See below for location and parking information for each location.

Institute of Psychiatry
67 President Street

• Parking for those traveling to the Institute of Psychiatry is available at the President Street garage which is at the intersection of President and Bee St.
• You should tell the lot attendant that you are going to the Institute of Psychiatry. You will receive a payment card and be told to park on the first ramp in the garage.

Roper Medical Office Building
125 Doughty Street, Suite 190
Charleston, SC 29425

• The Roper Medical Office Building is a yellow brick building on MUSC’s campus at the corner of Doughty and Courtenay St.
• Free parking is available in the surface lot in front of the building. This lot can be accessed from the entrance on Doughty St.

• You will receive a parking ticket—please bring it with you and we will validate your parking.
