This presentation will highlight the current state of research on cannabis use among older adults, including psychosocial considerations, gender effects, and general limitations to consider when evaluating research findings. The latest literature on health effects of cannabis use in aging will be reviewed, with particular focus on mental health and possible cognitive effects through cardiovascular mechanisms.
