Biography
Dr. Chike-Harris is dual certified as a pediatric (PNP) and family (FNP) nurse practitioner. She is an alumni of MUSC CON, earning her BSN in 2007, MSN (peds focused) in 2009, and her DNP in 2011. Dr. Chike-Harris earned her post-master's certificate as an FNP at University of Massachusetts - Boston in 2021. Since graduating with her PNP, Dr. Chike-Harris has worked in the pediatric primary care setting serving the rural and underserved population, initially through a local FQHC but now through the school-based telehealth (SBTH) clinic setting with the MUSC Center for Telehealth, which has allowed her to expand her primary care services outside the Lowcountry. Dr. Chike-Harris has taught at MUSC’s CON within the DNP program as an adjunct faculty since 2015 but accepted a full-time position in 2017. Dr. Chike-Harris has led the effort in integrating telehealth within the nursing curriculum. Clinical interests include telehealth - education (students/providers) and integration.
