Dr. Donna Reinbeck is an Assistant Professor in the MUSC College of Nursing. She is currently the Lead Faculty for the Nurse Executive DNP Program. Dr. Reinbeck earned her Bachelor of Science, Master of Science in Nursing Clinical Leadership and PhD in Educational Leadership from Kean University, Union, NJ. She has over 25 years of nursing experience as a clinician, nurse leader and educator. She is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Nurse Educator and maintains an Advanced Nurse Executive Certification (NEA-BC).
Donna possesses an extensive clinical background in nursing leadership. After many years in various positions in the acute care leadership role, Donna completed her PhD in January 2017. This enabled her to pursue her passion for teaching.
Donna has published on a variety of topics relating to quality and safety, cross-generational mentorship, and nursing leadership. She has presented her research locally, nationally and internationally and served as a consultant to nursing programs in Bangladesh.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
