Biography

I have a special interest in research pertaining to fluorescent imaging with practical use in cancer surgery. I combine my expertise as an experienced head and neck cancer (HNC) surgeon (M.D.) and basic scientist (Ph.D.) I was involved and can carry out the experiments from the planning, fluorescent dye conjugation, animal testing, and clinical translation. I was a lead expert in a nerve fluorescent imaging project that used a sodium channel Nav1.7 targeted molecule and in fluorescent imaging of smell. My expertise contributed to other fluorescence and confocal imaging projects, with some of them already translating into clinical trials (NCT03085147, NCT-02507141).
