 EDUCATION:  

  • OTD- Doctor of Occupational Therapy-Advanced Practice, Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Utah. 2019. 
  • B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy- Hashemite University- Jordan, 2003. 

 

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: 

Area of Research:

  • Occupational Therapy Role in Bariatric Rehabilitation and Weight Management. 
  • Occupational Disruption among refugees and vulnerable populations.
  • Experience of African American Students in Occupational Therapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant academic programs.
  • Effects of Opioids on Occupational participation in older adults using prescriptions.
  • Severe Obesity as comorbidity among patients with COVID-19, risks, and rehabilitation needs. 
  • Employment outcomes post-bariatric surgery.
  • Lifestyle interventions for the management of chronic diseases.
