Biography
Dr. Tutek is a licensed clinical
psychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Sleep and Anxiety
Treatment and Research Program (SATRP) within the Department of Psychiatry and
Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. He received
his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College, and his
M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama. Dr. Tutek
completed his Pre-Doctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology at the Miami VA
Healthcare System. He then completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Stanford
University School of Medicine, where he received training in cognitive
behavioral therapy for sleep disorders and participated in insomnia research. Currently,
Dr. Tutek provides evidence-based therapies for sleep and anxiety disorders in
the SATRP. He enjoys collaborating with patients from all walks of life,
adapting treatment to address challenges and work toward goals that are most
meaningful to them.
