Dr.
Wilkerson is an Associate Professor in the Sleep, Mood, and
Anxiety Research and Treatment (SMART) Division within the Department
of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of
South Carolina. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and
a Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (DBSM).
Dr.
Wilkerson obtained her Bachelor of Science in
Psychology from Texas A&M University, followed by a Master
of Education in Counseling Education and a Doctor of Philosophy in
Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas. She completed
her Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Charleston Consortium
Psychology Internship Program and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in
the SMART Division.
As a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on numerous federally funded grants, Dr. Wilkerson focuses on leveraging technology to develop and disseminate evidence-based trainings and interventions for sleep and mental health.
