Biography

Dr. Yeatts is an Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina.  She is also a faculty member with the  Data Coordination Unit (DCU), an  NIH-funded statistical and data coordinating center that specializes in the design and coordination of multicenter clinical trials.   Dr. Yeatts is Co-PI of the Data Coordinating Center for the Strategies to Innovate Emergency Care Clinical Trials (SIREN) Network.  Dr. Yeatts is PI of the Data Coordinating Center for ICECAP, a multicenter trial evaluating the duration response of hypothermia in patients with out of hospital cardiac arrest, and BOOST-3, a multicenter trial evaluating the efficacy of a treatment protocol for managing ICP and PbtO2, as compared to a protocol managing ICP only, both conducted within SIREN.  Dr. Yeatts is also the PI of the National Data Management Center for SATURN, a multi-center trial evaluating the efficacy of statin discontinuation with patients who experience a lobar ICH while taking a statin.
