Dr. Prisciandaro received his Honors B.A. from New York University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University at Buffalo. He completed his psychology internship and postdoctoral training in neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Prisciandaro received a K23 award from NIAAA and joined the MUSC faculty in 2012. He is currently supported by grants from NIAAA (AA025365) and NIDA (DA04391701), as well as the Charleston Alcohol Research Center and other collaborative endeavors. His independent research focuses on advancing the neurobiological treatment of individuals with co-occurring Bipolar Disorder and Substance Use Disorder using multimodal MRI.
