Fraud, Regulatory, & Legal
Student complaints or concerns including, but not limited to:
- Violation of law, regulation, institutional policies, or ethical standards
- Fraud, financial misconduct, or misuse of university resources
- Academic misrepresentation or integrity concerns
- Research misconduct or unethical research practices
- Privacy violations (HIPAA, FERPA, PII)
- Data breaches or cybersecurity concerns
- Violations of recruitment, credentialing, or immigration requirements
- Accreditation violations
- Retaliation
The college procedure may be used for students to submit complaints on matters related to legal, regulatory, policy compliance, fraud, waste, and/or abuse.
The student has the option of filing a report/complaint regarding any activity reasonably believed in violation of any law or regulation, any MUSC policy, or any Federal or State Healthcare requirement by means of the Confidential Hotline: 800-296-0269 (toll free, available 24 hours, 7 days a week).
