Education Innovation Advocates Christine Andresen (Academic Affairs Faculty) and Jennifer Wisniewski (College of Pharmacy) were selected to present at the ITLC Lilly Conference on Innovative Strategies to Advance Student Learning in San Diego, CA, in January 2024. Their 40-minute presentation, Unlocking the Potential of Digital Accessibility to Empower Inclusivity in Education, introduced attendees to the concept of digital accessibility, reviewed US legal requirements, provided practical solutions to create digitally accessible instructional materials, shared tools for accessibility compliance, and engaged participants with hands-on practice creating accessible course content. Gretchen Seif, Education Innovation Advocate, also attended the conference.
