Global Travel

MUSC supports and encourages international collaborations and recognizes that a global perspective is essential to its academic mission. In increasing the university’s global presence, there is also a recognition that international travel comes with inherent risks. In 2013, MUSC implemented an international travel policy that establishes a set of guidelines and requirements intended to promote the health, safety, and security of travelers abroad for university-supported or related purposes.

Please review the full policy and process before booking international travel. We encourage careful planning when traveling, especially to regions that pose heightened risks due to political, cultural, or health-related reasons.

MUSC faculty, staff, and students are required to register their MUSC-related international travel. Submit your travel through the MUSC Travel Registry.
