I hope everyone continues to be healthy and safe. Who would have thought that we would still be rescheduling reunions, Golden Graduate events, and student events 19 months after first going virtual? The good news is that we have dates for all of these on the calendar moving forward and we promise to keep you posted if anything changes.

During October, we took the opportunity to celebrate American Pharmacists Month. It seems so fitting as we continue to learn more about vaccines and the importance of the research taking place. Each of us has been impacted in some way during this pandemic, and we would like to give a special shout-out to all our alumni for the ways they are making a difference!

For many years, we have had student alumni councils for the College of Medicine and the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. We are excited to announce that we have a new student alumni council for the College of Pharmacy!  The new Pharmacy Student Alumni Council (PSAC) members are busy planning the calendar year for community outreach and ways to connect our alumni with our current students.

Many of you have worked with Susan Master from the Alumni Affairs office as she planned many of our alumni events. Susan recently retired to spend more time with her husband, Michael. If you see Susan, please join us in thanking her for her service and congratulating her on this exciting new chapter.

Thank you for staying connected with your alumni office during this past year. We look forward to seeing everyone in person again soon!

Best to you,

Linda
