Changes coming to the MUSC Alumni Association!

Alumni Association
July 22, 2024

I'm so excited you're here. If we haven't met yet, I'm Jennifer Breen, your new senior associate director of the MUSC Alumni Association. If you came to our first Alumni Weekend in February 2024, you may recognize me from check-in. I've loved meeting you, hearing your stories and listening to your feedback.

We're taking what you've shared to heart and are working to make the Alumni Association better for you, starting with this newsletter. I hope you find it to be a valuable resource going forward.

Website Upgrades

That goes for our website, too. A few months ago, you might have filled out a survey about MUSC's alumni website. We heard you loud and clear – you're not spending much time on our site. We're about to change that. In the coming months, get ready for a fresh, user-friendly website experience.

So, What's Next?

Here's a sneak peek at what's on the horizon for the Alumni Association:

  • More frequent communication, like this email newsletter.
  • Updated continuing education programming.
  • More events to connect you with MUSC and fellow alumni (Save the date for the next Alumni Weekend: February 27 through March 1, 2025!).
  • Additional opportunities to get involved as a board member or class rep.

While I may be new to this role, I'm not new to MUSC or the Alumni Association. I've worked behind-the-scenes at MUSC for the last five years, and I'm just blown away by our tight-knit alumni community.

Speaking of community, let's give a warm welcome to our newest members, the MUSC Class of 2024!

Please email me any time at breenj@musc.edu with questions, concerns or suggestions for making the MUSC Alumni Association a valuable resource for you.
